Monocle is looking for the perfect candidate to join our team as an Analyst. As an Analyst at Monocle your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

 

  • Absorb and process information sufficiently in order to deliver to our clients’ requirements.

  • Perform tasks in a timely and effective manner, aligned to the specifications.

  • Solving industry specific problems.

  • Conducting business analysis and documenting requirements.

  • Performing data analysis tasks on large data sets.

  • Design and implement management reports and dashboards.

  • Write, read and analyse various computer programming languages.

  • Engaging with Monocle clients.

  • Continuously developing business knowledge and technical skills in the areas in which Monocle provides consulting services.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

 

  • Hold a relevant degree with strong preference for a post graduate qualification.

  • Have a strong academic track record.

  • Have a keen interest in working with banks and insurers.

  • Have some experience in the financial services industry will be advantageous. 

  • Have a strong desire to learn and upskill subject matter knowledge and technical abilities.

  • Have good technical and programming skills are advantageous.

  • Be on their way to a professional qualification in finance and risk management such as CFA and/or FRM is advantageous.

Recruitment Process:

 

During the interview process, you will meet with different Monocle representatives – including both People and Culture representatives and company executives – and demonstrate your cognitive abilities in various assessments. A critical aspect of the interview process will be determining whether Monocle will be a good fit for you and your career aspirations, so please come prepared with any questions you may have.
